Every race is another chance to learn something about yourself as a runner!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14859759418714880050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2422411720783541847.post-36854510603405943422013-11-24T14:39:04.913-05:002013-11-24T14:39:04.913-05:00I can relate to this post.. I learned so, so, soooooo much about my body and myself after making that mistake.
I'm glad that you're looking at your back to back marathons with a more positive outlook. steenahttp://www.findingmyhappypace.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2422411720783541847.post-10321368458374851152013-11-22T17:26:33.283-05:002013-11-22T17:26:33.283-05:00Good for you to have such a positive outlook on th...Good for you to have such a positive outlook on this race. I have heard such great things about CIM. I have never done back to back marathons but it sounds like it could be a great challenge. I'm presently training for Houston Marathon. I am excited that you are running CIM. Sometimes I like have a good race under my belt so that you can have a little less pressure, though I've never done marathons that close together.. Sounds like you are in a good place here with CIM. I'm excited for you to race!Rainahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14118022681297462844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2422411720783541847.post-16956222967149386182013-11-21T23:40:01.218-05:002013-11-21T23:40:01.218-05:00I agree, there's no room for "what ifs&qu...I agree, there's no room for "what ifs" when you really want something and your mind is in the right place! CIM will be great for you!
I dwell on things I can't control (unfortunately!) but more so in my "normal life" than my running life. I should probably work on that! Ha! I guess with running things never work out perfectly so I learned not to dwell on the uncontrollable. I'm not perfect by any means, just better about that with running than other areas!
Jen Bhttp://www.thelocalelite.comnoreply@blogger.com
